Dragoon Brewing Company grew out of Tucson’s homebrewing community and opened in 2011, founded by Bruce Greene, Eric Greene, and Tristan White. The plan was never volume or flash: a tight lineup of year-round beers, brewed with conviction and poured from a no-frills warehouse taproom on West Grant Road.
The lineup is led by the flagship Dragoon IPA, which Food & Wine named one of the best IPAs in America. Thrillist has featured Dragoon among Arizona’s best breweries, and the public record backs the reputation: 4.5 stars across 200+ Yelp reviews, with the same mark on Tripadvisor. In 2026 that record cleared our bar: the Centurion Award for Best Brewery in Tucson.
