Gorat's Steak House has been an Omaha supper-club institution since Louis and Nettie Gorat opened it in 1944. Corn-fed steaks, chicken parmigiana, and stiff drinks come in a dim, red-boothed room — and it's famously the favorite of Omaha's own Warren Buffett, who orders the T-bone rare with a double order of hash browns.
